[ooo-build] CentOS 5.3 Go-Oo Installs but exits quickly splash screen comes up for a few seconds.

Hello,

I was able to successfully install Go-Oo on CentOS 5.3.  However, when I
type 'soffice' at the command line the splash screen comes up for a few
seconds until the progress bar at the top is at about 40% and then it exits
abruptly.  There is not really anything in /var/log/messages that sticks
out.  What is up with this?
