Well, I've discovered two bugs that I think are worth fixing.  They were
discovered while upstreaming the patch, so no bugzilla entries in
novell's bugzilla, but they are in the upstream IZ:

The fixes for them are very simple, safe and make absolute sense.  So, I
feel more comfortable shipping with the fixes than without.
