I'm the ArchLinux package maintainer.
Where can I get this source file? Can git also create this one? Do you
have plans to provide again source files for the releases via
your mirrors?
I doubt if it is enough to get myself the full source via
git in configure and compress myself a fat tarball of almost 2GB that I
cannot upload to our mirrors. How can we provide a save package that
includes checksums the users can validate. And is the way you do it now
covered by LGPL license? As far as I know we as distribution are in
duty to provide the full source when someone request it.
