[ooo-build] PCLinuxOS

I am running PCLinuxOS.  I like it, but it seems to have some quirks.  I 
was running Ubuntu, but the sound issue became too irritating to me.
Be that as it may. . .
I have heard many good things about GoOo, and would like to try it.  
PCLinuxOS doesn't handle rpm files very easily, and I'm not very 
sophisticated about computin'.
Can someone make a suggestion as to how to install GoOo on my computer?
