Well, you already found out that this build was not with KDE4 support?
What are you wondering about now?

Of course it does. How can you in any world expect to not install the
libraries actually responsible for spell checking and then complaining
about spellchecking not working? Oh my. (Of course, that being in
a extra package is one of the most bogus ideas ever seen - but the universal
go-oo "packages" follow the upstream layout so complain at Oracle
