the install set I created contains that generated hid.lst. So on my test 
machine I set the qatestool to use the hid.lst from my OO.o 
installation. I tried to run a few testcases with success. No tweaking 
or filtering of the hid file was needed! :-)
   Now I have started the release set of testcases to see whether any 
error shows up. I wonder if this process would also work so easily with 
ooo-build.
