I'm okay with git.  It's awkward at first, but far more powerful.

The wiki is more difficult than the one at freedesktop, the diffs 
are not as good, and it doesn't have these annoying login form 
fields on every page.

So yes, if the others can get used to git, let's move everything.

However, since there will be only one openchrome account, it may be 
better to keep the svn repo, make a git clone of it somewhere, and 
let one person use that to pull in svn revisions and push them out 
to fd.org.  Several people sharing the same fd.org account to make 
commits seems strange to me.
