FWIW, openchrome is the default driver for VIA IGPs since Fedora 9. The
xorg log should make very clear which driver is used anyway.

Could you please describe what your issue is ? "doesn't work" is not
very informative ;-) Also please provide the X conf and logs.
My guess would be the panel is not displaying properly, if anything at
all. I'd try using 'Option "ForcePanel"' to the xorg conf.

openchrome-users instead.
