To apply the patch, go into your git checkout, then :
patch -p1 < /path/to/diff.patch

To revert, the patch :
patch -R -p1 < /path/to/diff.patch

I guess if ForcePanel locks up your device, then the enable_lcd.patch will lock
up too.

I'll attach another one for you to try in a minute.
