--- Comment #315 from Kevin Brace <kevinbrace at gmx.com> ---
Hi Christopher,

I think I am getting out of trying to figure out Puppy Linux.
I find Puppy Linux very frustrating to use compared to Lubuntu, and sometimes,
it takes a lot of effort just to figure out some basic stuff that works so
easily in Lubuntu.
As far as I am concerned, the bug is already fixed since I confirmed that VGA
coming from DVI to VGA adapter is now working with Puppy Linux 5.7.1 (Precise
Puppy).
As for Puppy Linux 6.0, I tried Puppy Linux 6.0.5, and the network stack is
broken.
I had to try it with 4 different computers, and none of them will recognize the
Realtek PCIe gigabit Ethernet or USB wireless LAN.
I do not want to keep spending time on figuring out a different version of
Puppy Linux that works since I do not really like Puppy Linux to begin with.
I am sorry to say this, but this whole business of trying to figure out Puppy
Linux is causing tremendous irritation, and I am not interested in continuing
to go through this.
At this point, my recommendation will be for you to contact Puppy Linux
developers to download OpenChrome Version 0.4.0, and replace the buggy Version
0.3.3 and 0.2.90x with Version 0.4.0.
I am serious about what I am writing here, and I am not playing games with you.
That's all I want to say for now.
