--- Comment #197 from Kevin Brace <kevinbrace at gmx.com> ---
Hi Christopher,

I uploaded the patch for you to try.
I developed with OpenChrome Git repository commit in mind.
If the patch works out for you, it will likely get committed into the
repository.
I am very close to OpenChrome Version 0.3.4 release (Most changes I wanted to
put into the code before Version 0.3.4 release have been committed.), and
whether or not the fix I came up here as a patch will go into Version 0.3.4
depends on how the modified code performs.

This is what I want to you to test.

- DVI to VGA adapter configuration
- DVI configuration (use DVI cable)

Here is the detailed instructions on how to compile and install OpenChrome.

If possible, you may want to try Ubuntu 12.04 based Puppy Linux rather than
Ubuntu 14.04 based Puppy Linux since I use Lubuntu 12.04 for development and
initial testing, at least for now.
I do check the code with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and Lubuntu 10.04 as well to make
sure it doesn't break anything, but I do not really test it against Ubuntu
14.04 based OSes at this point.
You can try Ubuntu 14.04 based OSes later.
For patch application, put the patch inside xf86-video-openchrome and run this
command.

$ patch -p1 < ("Name of the patch")
