Hi Justin,

Reading through the log file you titled, "VGA on the DVI-I port with VGA
adapter HP T5550 with modified ID," it appears that the OS is recognizing the
monitor (EDID is being returned correctly) and the monitor is identifying the
interface as an analog type (i.e., VGA).
I know you reported to me that VGA coming out of DVI to VGA adapter was not
working, but can it be a situation where you have to manually switch to the
other signal source?
A typical monitor with 2 or more monitor interfaces typically have a button
that allows you to switch this.
Some models switch signal source automatically, but others don't.
As for the log file you titled, "DVI on the DVI-I port on HP T5550 with
modified ID," the monitor is identifying the interface as a digital type (i.e.,
DVI).
