I was able install Puppy Linux on a USB flash memory stick yesterday.
For the sake of staying with a comparable environment, I choose Precise Puppy
5.7.1 retro.
I still have not figured out how Git can be installed since Puppy Precise does
not appear to use APT as its package manager.
Anyway, I can test the patch to see if VGA out of DVI to VGA adapter (I still
like calling it "dongle.") as soon as Git is installed, and OpenChrome package
dependencies are resolved.
If you know how to solve these 2 issues, let me know since that will save a lot
of time.
