Still waitin' on help with that bash script. Till I get that running I'm stuck.

I don't remember how I installed Git but I'll take a look late tonight if I
remember -- which I should. It'll be around 10pm Eastern US time... I'm
probably not going to be on that computer until then.

Glad to hear the progress, though! ...and, for me, VGA out through the adapter
is perfectly fine. I don't need actual DVI...
