   Within my thin clients, the maximum size of the flash memory is 4GB. And
that is why I prefer to use a ATA/SATA/CF devices instead. 
   But here is a question to ask about the installation. When I am trying to
install Lubuntu/Ubuntu, when I select "Install Ubuntu" from the option on the
screen, it will not enter into the final installation screen and the display
reports "frequency out of range". So have you met this issue before with the
installation?
   I am using a USB stick with Lubuntu/Ubuntu ISO file to do that. But when I
try this USB stick installation with other boards(i.e., AMDs), the installation
works fine.
