            Bug ID: 100679
Summary: Garbled graphics when resuming from standby
           Product: xorg
           Version: 7.7 (2012.06)
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/openchrome
          Assignee: openchrome-devel at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: martin651 at gmx.de

Hi Kevin,

When going to standby and resuming I only get garbled graphics (most of the
screen gets white). It looks like the display gets wrong (too high?) resolution
commands. I had this problem already with OpenChrome 0.3.3 which comes with
Ubuntu 14.04.
It is not possible to do anything with the computer in that state. So I have to
reboot by switching to tty1 (still gabled screen) and pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.

My system:
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 1705
VIA VN896 chipset
lubuntu 14.04 (upgraded to 14.04.5, but I didn't use a point release, so it is
not a HWE version)
OpenChrome V0.6 (compiled and installed according to your tutorial).

Regards,
Martin
