I am an unemployed Silicon Valley digital hardware design engineer, so I do not specialize in Linux graphics device driver development.). I am now in the driver's seat (no pun intended), and finally, it is nice to be in the driver's seat for the first time (again, no pun intended). I will personally celebrate today (a big deal for me) on my own. What this means is that, in the future, you will be able to obtain updated source code quickly without having to apply so many patches like where you are today. While I will not be able to promise that the future OpenChrome Version 0.3.4 will fix your bug, at some point, newer version of PuppyLinux should have the newer OpenChrome code. I am hoping that future OpenChrome Version 0.3.5 will fix your bug, and hopefully PuppyLinux developers will take the updated code.
