<pre>Hi Christopher,
I have done a few more relatively unimportant commits.
That being said, if you were to do any testing, you should use DVI for now.
I will eventually merge the patches I asked you to test into the master branch
(i.e., main development branch), but since they are still unproven, I am
reluctant to commit them at this point.
That being said, please do not use any of the patches that were uploaded for
specifically dealing with this bug.
They are obsolete, and use of them will only cause problems for you.
In order to update your local git repository, please run the following commands
from the terminal when you are in your xf86-video-openchrome directory
(folder).
git reset --hard 47060a3d770b90ed96924b4260dce38bdafedfde
git pull
These 2 commands will update your local Git repository.
Just for your reference, commit 47060a3d770b90ed96924b4260dce38bdafedfde was
the last commit before I did my first commit.
<a href="https://cgit.freedesktop.org/openchrome/xf86-video-openchrome/commit/?id=47060a3d770b90ed96924b4260dce38bdafedfde">https://cgit.freedesktop.org/openchrome/xf86-video-openchrome/commit/?id=47060a3d770b90ed96924b4260dce38bdafedfde</a>
After you update your local Git repository, I will create several patches you
can try.
These patches should enable the use of VGA via DVI to VGA dongle (The
functionality of these patches is similar to some of the patches you have
already tried, though.).</pre>
