Can you try a USB flash memory stick?
I was able to boot Puppy Linux 5.7.1 from an 8 GB flash memory stick.
That being said, the problem with Git installation pretty much halted the
progress on that front . . .
I will use a different stick, and try the newer Puppy Linux soon.</pre>
