The, er, 'storage situation' (somewhat apt) *may* be resolved -- I have had
some help with the script that has gone very well. I believe I've been able to
make a successful install (FINALLY!) to the SD card that's been giving me
issues... I meant to test it yesterday, when I made the prospective install,
but did not have the opportunity. I will make a note to test it tonight or
tomorrow. If I can boot it again, I will test and report back, for sure. If
not, I will report that instead. Either way, I should be heard from again in
the next few days -- if I forget, a tickler won't hurt anything ;)
BTW, Kevin, if it would be easier for you to test on your end, let me know and
I'll tell you how I've been doing it. It will sound a lot more complicated than
it really is ;) FWIW, I have been using neither git nor any network connection
on the WYSE system itself.
Oh -- and before I forget -- thank you Kevin, and ALL thread participants here,
for helping me (and each other) with this mess. I really do appreciate all of
your work :)
