I did make number of improvements to the error handling of the code. All the commits since Version 0.4.181 were made to fix the bug you have encountered. Error code paths rarely get exercised, so as a developer, I do find this to be a good opportunity to get that portion tested (and I am sorry for your inconvenience.). I am hoping that segmentation fault will no longer happen with the improvements I have made to the code (the previous code quality was pretty terrible), but I still think that it will not necessarily fix the bug.
