<pre>P Touchman, I just wanted to "prove" that at least one version of the
OpenChrome DDX release works with your hardware.
Now that we know OpenChrome DDX Version 0.6 works with VIA VE-900 mainboard,
you may want to try the OpenChrome DDX latest upstream code with Knoppix 8.1.
If I understand it correctly, Knoppix writes system log files to a RAM disk,
then writes them back when you shutdown.
Anyway, my motivation for spending a lot time troubleshooting OpenChrome DDX
functionality with you is to do some preliminary RC (Release Candidate) testing
done prior to releasing an RC version.
There are still about 4 to 5 more issues I need to take care of before an RC
version can be released.
