DRI not working - Kubuntu 5.10 on AmiloPro V2010 notebook, chip PM800
Hi,
I've spent a lot of time trying to get dri working, as that's the last thing which keeps windows on my laptop. I do my best to read all the docs, faqs and wikis I find, but I'm still new to linux and don't really understand much of this stuff, so please forgive me, if I missed something obvious..

I've followed the instructions here: http://www.openchrome.org/snapshots/ubuntu/, then did dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xorg-xserver, chose "via" as the chip vendor. The driver seems to be working. That's a step forward, via drivers included in ubuntu gave me a black screen ( although apparently xserver loaded, I just didn't see anything.... ). But  dri is off. 
glxinfo says:
libGL error: XF86DRIQueryDirectRenderingCapable returned false
display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: No

I got lost at this point, please show me, how to get this working.
