[Openchrome-users] Ubuntu success

Hello all,

I'd like to report my success with Ubuntu Breezy and MythTV :-)

Prompted by the availability of the debs of the snapshot and libxvmc I
upgraded my Myth box from hoary to breezy and installed the debs. No
problems there.

I am running kernel 2.6.13.1 with the built in drm, this was no good,
neither was drm cvs. The drm from the snapshot source of Nov 16
(matching the date of the debs) worked fined.

One slight wrinkle. The libxvmc package is called libxvmc1 in breezy. 
http://packages.ubuntu.com/breezy/libs/libxvmc1
http://packages.ubuntu.com/breezy/libdevel/libxvmc-dev
This means that when I try to install libxvmc1-dev from breezy for the
headers to compile Myth then it tries to install the breezy libxvmc1 and
remove the libxvmc snapshot deb.

Or am I doing the wrong thing in trying to use the breezy -dev package?

Anyway, thanks for all the chrome, some of us need it ;-)
