monitor goes into standby when X starts
Hi,

I installed Ububtu breezy yesterday on my Epia M10000N. In order to get a working X server, I had to replace the "via" driver by "vesa" in xorg.conf (as xorg didn't find the "via" module). But I would like higher resolution (1280*1024), and the features of the openchrome driver (accelerated graphics and MPEG hardware decoding)

Therefore, I replaced the -386 kernel by the -686 version (and restarted the computer), and installed the binaries from 
http://www.openchrome.org/snapshots/ubuntu/ . This time, the x server starts without error, but the monitor (belinea 17" tft) turns off. I can hear the login music, but nothing appears on the screen!

Do you have an idea of what's going wrong? I think I missed something, but I must admit I'm a newbie in the art of x server configuration...
