My xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log files are available at [http://cyril.buttay.free.fr/xorg/xorg_conf_files.tar.gz] .

I checked all VTs without success.I'm pretty sure the VT corresponding to F7 is the xserver, as this is the terminal which is selected by the "startx" command, and switching to this terminal shuts down the screen...
