Re: monitor goes into standby when X Well... I suppose you meant "NoDDC" (not "NoDCC"). I tried with this option, and it removed all the DDC-related warnings from the log file. But it doesn't change anything else, my monitor still turns off when starting X. If you have an idea... Thanks Cyril
