There are such docs available from VIA under a "Linux addendum to NDA".
I have such docs for some chipsets but not for any TV encoders. I guess,
but I'm not sure, that the failing of TV-out after a suspend is not due
to the TV-encoder setup but due to failing to set up the VGA registers
correctly. If we could find the cause, we would even be able to have
TV-out on those K8N800 laptops that have no BIOS setting for TV-out.
