Same hardware with Debian Etch/Testing, also mythtv 0.19.

I also have this problem, but I wanted to check a bit more so that I
didn't make any mistake myself :-). Nice to see that other people have
the same problem though. This occurs both with the via driver from
Xorg 6.9 and the openchrome driver.
I've started running without XvMC and then rewinding and FF
works, but at a high cost in CPU usage of course.

I've noticed that if you let the locked screen stay for a while, it
will every now and then skip one frame forward.

Well, one way of solving it is to run without Via XvMC, but that's
probably not what you want to hear :-)
