 Thanks for the id report.... however for your other problem trac is not a
 discussion forum - please discuss problems on the mailing list first
 before filing an issue as a bug.
 The "3D driver claims to not support visual" issue has been mentioned
 before as being a 64 bit alignment problem, it used to be necessary to use
 the mesa_64 branch, but I'm not sure what the current situation is. Can
 someone with 64bit comment?
