Yeah there are bound to be people interested. Ideally it needs someone to keep 
it up to date with current mplayer. 
As I said in my last mail I expect it's just configure changes required to get 
it working again, I just haven't got the time or inclination to play with it 
at the moment. Especially since xine works out of the box.
