 I just got around to feeding my mythtv output to the TV, using S-Video out
 from my SP13000 on Tuesday night. I did NOT notice this problem.
 However, I do not think I have *any* modelines set in xorg.conf. I just
 connected the cables, to see what would happen, before, as I thought,
 getting down to fiddling. But no fiddle required. It even down-scaled and
 played an HD clip without distortion.
 I will check and post my xorg.conf. Maybe that is the problem?
 Since others get the same problem, I'm discounting a cable problem.
