[Openchrome-users] Problems building openchrome driver... "`./[config.h].in' not found"

Hi!
Please do a dpkg -l | grep automake and post the output here.

/usr/local/lib/xorg is fine but you have to add

ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
ModulePath "/usr/local/lib/xorg/modules"

in your files section in your xorg.conf
