[Openchrome-users] Big difference from today with VN800 (VM800)

I want to share few thoughts with people who use VN800 and Dapper Drake
Linux (Ubuntu). My gpu is VN800 or VM800.

Until today switching between video console and text console was slow,
it lasted about 10 seconds with ugly flashes meanwhile. Today it lasts
only 1.5 seconds. Here is the list of possible causes, but please read
them all before you jump into conclusion.

There is difference which I made today
1. I have downloaded & compiled new via openchrome drivers (revision
201)
2. I have downloaded & compiled new drm

I think most important is following:

3. libdrm* files were installed in /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib. Actually
the first one was result of "--prefix=/usr" parameter given
to ./autogen.sh while compiling the driver. I saw something
contradictory. Same drivers, but older, the libdrm* were also in /lib
folder. So, I moved the files from /usr/lib to /lib in order to have
them at just one place.

Now I have following output from "dmesg | grep drm" :

[17179612.848000] [drm] Initialized drm 1.0.1 20051102
[17179612.860000] [drm] Initialized via 2.10.2 20060616 on minor 0:

[17179612.860000] [drm] Used old pci detect: framebuffer loaded

Output of "dmesg | grep agp" :
