[Openchrome-users] People interested in debugging XV on the K8M890

I want to narrow down where XV is hanging with the K8M890 chipset.  I
figured something simpler than mplayer would help as a test bed.  I
found this code ( http://bellet.info/XVideo/testxv.c )out on the
Internet and it looks like it will help out with the task at hand.  You
can compile it with gcc -o testxv testxv.c -L/usr/lib -lX11 -lXext
-lXv .

after that run ./testxv from a terminal and see where your machine
hangs.  Hopefully this will give us a good starting point for
debugging.
