Possibly.  "Fast writes" don't add any notable speed, though, so 
it's better to have it off.

In your BIOS.  At bootup press DEL (Delete) or whatever the boot 
screen says, and find among the many options the AGP ones.

It should work automatically.  Check with 'lsmod | grep agp'.  If 
amd64_agp is not loaded, add am64-agp and drm to your /etc/modules 
file.  (Watch the difference between hyphen and underscore.)
