Hi guys.
I have a problem with my new K8M890-based mainboard.
I've followed the instructions from the openchrome wiki, and got
working the driver under X.org 7.1.1 (Debian etch).
I'm using linux 2.6.19.1 for X86_64 (it's the only version that
supports my SATA controller, VT8237A), and I've added the device ID
(3230) for my video controller to /drivers/char/drm/pciids.h on the
kernel source tree.
But X.org refuses to enable DRI saying:
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 8, (OK)
(II) VIA(0): [drm] loaded kernel module for "via" driver
(II) VIA(0): [drm] DRM interface version 1.0
(II) VIA(0): [drm] drmSetBusid failed (8, PCI:1:0:0), Invalid argument
(EE) VIA(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
Any hints?
Thanks in advance.
