I've added a crude dump of all the hardcoded tv encoder modes to the 
TV-out page. It could use a bit of editing (put everything in tables, 
for example. Editing tables in the wiki drives me crazy, sorry...). 
Also, not all modes are guaranteed to work, it would be nice if ppl with 
the hardware can ACK/NACK. Also there are some patches floating around 
adding or fixing modes for various tv encoders, it would be nice to 
gather everything in a tracker bug in Trac and also reference them in 
the wiki page.

fwiw, the only chipset capable of decoding HDTV mpeg is the CN400/PM800. 
The only tv encoder supporting HD ouput is the VT1625. afaict, the only 
board with both a CN400 and a VT1625 is the Commell LV-667.
