[Openchrome-users] FC5 VIA XvMC What Am I Missing?

Hi All,
This is frustrating and I cannot seem to figure out what the problem is, I
cannot be sure if the problem is coming with the video driver from
openchrome or a problem with the myth distribution from atrpms or a problem
with myth itself.

So here is the problem
I have FC5 running with 2.6.16-1.2111, I have upgraded to the latest couple
of kernels and I see the problem with all kernels but the 2.6.16-1.2111version.

When playing back MPEG2 video via myth, I am getting stutter, that is the
audio and video seem to stop for a split second, then seed up for a split
second.

I have compiled the latest DRM and Openchrome driver and instlaled those, I
have made double sure that I removed all traces of the older drivers.

Currently if I switch to the newer kernel(2.6.17-1.2139) I get the stutter,
but when I switch back to the previous kernel it is all ok. So, the version
of openchrome has stayed the same, the only thing I can think of that is
different is the DRM modules in the kernel.

When I get the skipping I see:
2006-07-05 19:53:06.455 NVP: prebuffering pause
2006-07-05 19:53:07.705 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:08.868 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:09.520 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:11.832 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:12.544 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:13.188 WriteAudio: buffer underrun
2006-07-05 19:53:18.366 WriteAudio: buffer underrun

Throughout the myth frontend log.

Also, when I use Xine to play a DVD or any video it locks up.

When running with the older kernel, this all works fine.

I am not sure what else to describe, or what other information to include.

Any and all help would be appreciated, and sorry for the cross post.

-Jake
