There seems to be a timing pb here, I have the same on my machine.
'via' and 'drm' kernel modules needs to be inserted _before_ the X
server starts. This way all drmOpenDevice will return OK, not only the
last one. I've workarounded that by loading the modules in rc.local a
long time ago, but forgot to log a bug at dri.sf.net since then. I'm
wondering if dri is the right place though, perhaps xorg or kernel ?
