 when the active output is TV, the xdriver must switch off the LCD
 backlight as it is capable of handling only one of either outputs.
 I have noticed that the Quake3 issue I reported happens much less often
 when
 using TV output, unless switching VT. If no VT switching is done while
 playing,
 it works normally for at least 30 minutes or more. I think it could be
 related
 to the screen resolution in use.
 I have noticed as well, some kind of stripe on the upper area of the
 screen when
 using TV. The area within that stripe seems to have over-saturated colour
 or
 something like that.
