I am trying to connect it to my LCD 30" panel. It does support 1280x768 and I 
always used this resolution on 60hz with the old Xorg (6.8.2-r3002).

I am running Gentoo. I tried different modelines, tried to set ActiveDevice to 
Panel, TV and CRT, but that made no difference at all.
