Is that a normal ubuntu kernel? If not, please try with a standard
ubuntu dapper kernel.

What says 'glxinfo | grep Open'? It should mention Mesa-6.4.2.

What other games have you tried? Tuxracer used to give more
problems here than other games.

This is normal.

Don't know about this. Here it says:
PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 0000:01:00.0. Please
try using pci=biosirq.
PCI: Via IRQ fixup for 0000:01:00.0, from 255 to 0

Just for experiment's sake you might try adding 'Option "DisableIRQ"
"True"' to Section "Device" in your xorg.conf. Also make sure that
in the BIOS memory timings are set to default, and AGPfastwrite is
off and set AGP speed to 1 or 2.

This looks good.

To get more info, please attach an Xorg.0.log.
