[Openchrome-users] VIA VT1631 LVDS Transmitter ??

I was told to try "VBEModes" option.
Now my panel displays (before it was blank).
I understand that it only supports the BIOS modes.
It seems to be similar to just using Vesa as the driver.
When using vesa or openchrome's via with VBEModes, it appears there is not
any antialiasing.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on improving this?
(Different settings in the GNOME display configuration tool have been
tested.)
When using "via" (on the RGB display without VBEModes), the antialiasing
works fine.
The current Xorg log is at:

This is a Ubuntu system using Ubuntu packages for the X components. I
removed the Ubuntu xserver-xorg-driver-via package and am using latest
openchrome from subversion instead.
Do you have any suggestions of another similar VIA board that has a
working (supported) LVDS transmitter?
