It should be somehow supported, may be using some tricks, but we need 
xorg logs to make sure, as I've told you some time ago ;-)

You can try to add the line below to the device section of your xorg 
conf and send us the resulting logs with and without it as well as the 
xorg.conf

Option "VBEModes"
