 couple of thoughts: How did you install the driver and can we have a look
 at your xorg.conf file. Is there a possability that there has been a chip
 revision? We are both using laptops (I assume your just using a board), I
 seem to remember lcd beeing on a diferent connect to crt on the via block
 diagram (http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/chipsets/v-series/vn800/).

 The last two seem pretty unlikly tho. I will attach copies of my
 via_drv.la, via_drv.so, libviaXvMC.la and libviaXvMCPro.la for comparison
 purposes. My /etc/X11/XvMCConfig file is set to libviaXvMCPro.so.1.

 It might also help if we could see your xorg.conf file and xorg logs too.
