MPlayer XvMC Black Screen
Hi There,

I'm having trouble with XvMC support in Mplayer-1.0Pre8. I have applied the mplayer xvmc patch from the File Gallery and successfully compiled it. When I start mplayer as follows, :

# mplayer -vo xvmc -vc ffmpeg12mc, <file.mpg>

a window is opened with only black content. The mplayer output in the terminal looks fine:

Also, the X server seems to start up with XvMC and DRI support correctly. The X startup log shows the following:

(II) VIA(0): [XvMC] Initialized XvMC extension.

(II) VIA(0): [drm] loaded kernel module for "via" driver
(II) VIA(0): [drm] created "via" driver at busid "PCI:1:0:0"

Other info : I use the VBEModes options because there is still no good PAL support for my chipset ( CN700 with VT1625 ). I am running Fedora Core 4 on a VIA EPIA CN board.

Anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this problem?

Greetings and thanks,

Sander.
