Okay, I switched to 640x480-16bpp (what I will be using for my TV-Out
anyway) and things improved a little, but I am still getting really high
cpu usage out of X when changing menus and when I am on menus with lists
to select from (recordings menu, music menu, etc). Maybe I need to hit
the myth list with this, but I just wanted to make sure it isn't a
driver problem first. The 2D acceleration is great, though. I am
watching a DVD in myth at 10% cpu usage. I am anxious to see what
happens when I watch live TV. (Oh, yeah, this is myth-0.20). Any other
advice on speeding up response or other ways to make sure I am getting
the most out of this chipset?
Thanks,
Joel
