#74: CN400 chipset cannot reliably playback HDTV content using XvMC

Reporter: masterclc at gmail.com | Owner: somebody
    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Component: xvmc-lib
 Version: | Keywords:
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
I'll attach the following log files:
In each application 1 log for non-HD content (480i/p) 1 log file for 720p
HD and 1 for 1080i HD content.
mplayer always using -vo xvmc -vc ffmpeg12mc
 xine always using -V xxmc
mythfrontend always using the -v playback and VLD XvMC option

 The problem is:
When I try to playback either a 1080i or a 720p program on an SP13000
using the VGA output, I get the following results:
 * In Xine I get a black screen with smooth audio on 720p content, and a
black screen with stuttering audio on 1080i content.
 * In MPlayer I get video, but no audio with either the 1080i or 720p
content, but I do get an picture.
 * In MythTV I get horribly stuttering video and audio with 720p content,
and just stuttering audio with 1080i content.

In all of the above I get smooth image and audio with 480i/p content (from
 a ripped DVD vob).

If any other information is necessary I'll be happy to provide it. I
chose to test and attach logs from all 3 players to give a more rounding
understanding of what is going on, hopefully it's not overwhelming or
 confusing...
