 Good catch, but I think that what you've actually found is a bug in the
 Xserver,
 namely Xorg bugzilla 6818, which has been fixed in later versions of the
 Xserver code.
 EXA composite will not work correctly withouth the ALIGN_POT flag.

 I've updated the wiki EXA page with patches needed for Xserver and some
 more tricks to have a useable EXA desktop.
